How do we feel hungry? Why do we feel thirsty? Why does our body need water?

People can think about other things only when they are hungry or hungry. Hungry people are ready to accept any challenge and face any danger to get their food, house, and clothes.

The biggest movements in the world have been made by people like this. They have a feeling like the Hindi proverb 'Marta to kya nahi karta'. After all, if you have to die, why starve, you will die by protesting. But why do people feel hungry? What is the scientific reason for this? Let's discuss this.

Why do we feel hungry?

Both our body and brain need energy and power. Without energy and power, we can't walk, talk and think. We get the energy we need in the body from food. The subtle parts of the brain do the job of informing the body of how much energy is needed.

When our body lacks the energy it needs, this microscopic organ releases special chemicals called neurotransmitters. These chemicals inform the brain when it runs out of energy. At that time we feel hungry.

When we are hungry, our stomach and intestines are active, so it rumbles and gurgles like a cloud in the stomach. When we eat too much, the stomach stops all these activities. The stomach informs the brain to stop signaling hunger.

Is hunger sweet or food?

When people are hungry, everything tastes sweet. Is hunger sweet or food? Everything tastes sweet when you are hungry, even honey doesn't taste so sweet when you are hungry.

Among the foods we eat, protein helps the body grow, and repair muscles and tissues. Fats and carbohydrates give us energy. Minerals make up tissues and bones. Water acts as a porter carrying oxygen in the body. However, sometimes even when you are hungry, you feel hungry. This happens when the stomach is full but the brain does not get enough energy.

There is a tradition of worshiping water because if there is no water, our life will not go on. Without water, as soon as there is a lack of water, our body becomes weak and lazy. If there is a severe lack of water, the body starts to get sick. Our body is designed in such a way that when there is a lack of water, we start feeling thirsty. Why and how do we experience thirst?

Water is one of the essential things for our body. 40 to 50 percent of our body weight is water. If more than 20 percent of the water in our body is spent or less than that, it is considered fatal. We can die. That is why we should drink water regularly so that our body's water content does not decrease too much.

If we eat too much water or if we eat too little water or if we eat too much salt, it destroys the cells of our body. When we are thirsty, we drink cold drinks such as coke, Fanta, Pepsi, etc. but it only reduces the water in our bodies.

Body water is consumed for digesting drinks like coffee, tea, milk, and juice. When we are thirsty, our throat feels like it is dry, our throat feels like it is packed. But the reason for this is not thirst, but because there is no saliva in the mouth when there is a lack of water, it happens in the absence of saliva.

When we drink water, the throat becomes juicy and the thirst is quenched. The thing is, the blood keeps flowing in the body, but the brain has more water than the blood. Four out of five parts of our brain are water.

Why does our body need water?

When I was in school, I drank dirty water. I had to walk about half an hour from my home to school. When going to school, it was not customary to carry lunch and water like it is now. There was a helper in the school. He used to bring a gallon of water a day. All the students had to drink that one glass of water.

As the school was in a hot place, I was very thirsty after playing at tiffin time. We used to go back and forth to drink water. Sometimes water was not enough for all to be drunk. One day the water is over, and I was so thirsty that I went to the very dirty place near the school where men and cattle were Passing urine, the same water I drank, I didn't get sick thankfully. Why does our body need water? Let's talk about this.

Two third parts of our body contain water, One part is made of bones and muscles only. Our body has about 42 liters of water. Water in our bodies is consumed daily. Body water is spent through sweat, urine, and other ways.

However, the water in our bodies is not the same as the water we drink. The water in our body contains such chemicals, which work to grow our body and repair the body parts. If we do not have enough water in our bodies, these chemicals cannot spread throughout the body, which causes illness and growth problems.

We should drink 4 to 5 liters of water daily. However, the amount of water in our body is fulfilled through food, vegetables, fruits, meat, bread, etc. Our blood also contains water. Blood contains about four liters of water. However, the water in the blood does not increase or decrease like other fluids in the body. It always remains the same.
