Who Invented the Refrigerator? Who invented television?

Who discovered the refrigerator that is found in every house and shop in the city with an electricity facility? Before talking about this, let's talk about the natural refrigerator used in our village. Villagers have their own ways of preserving perishable foods.

Like if you put ginger on the ground, it will dry up. Therefore, in the village, ginger is dug a little under the ground and buried with soil. It is taken out and eaten when needed. Similarly, squash is also known as bitter gourd, because of its high water content, But after keeping it inside a millet husk, it remains as fresh for a long time.

It is customary to keep the grain seeds in an earthen jar to protect them. There are many ways to preserve grain and fruits in the village. This is a very old way. However, modern refrigerators are different. there is various type of refrigerator in today's world. Let's discuss this.

Who Invented the Refrigerator?

The invention of the modern refrigerator was started by William Cullen, a physicist from Scotland. Around 1750, he discovered a chemical reaction that removed heat from a certain area and cooled it. this thing was invented at that time he did not even know that I laid the foundation for the invention of the modern refrigerator.

The refrigerator was invented only after many years using Cullen's invention. Before the refrigerator was invented, ice and cold water were used to freeze food. Food was chilled by placing it in ice or by immersing it in cold water. People used to keep the snow inside the house in winter to cool the food and preserve it for a long time.

We saw something like this once when we went to the city near the river, where there on the beach of that river fish is tied with a rope and immersed in the water. In the same way, the beer is dipped inside the river to make it cold. This natural method is used by people all over the world, where electricity and refrigerators have not been reached.

American engineer Thomas Moore built the first model of the refrigerator in 1800. He modified the way people freeze food by keeping ice inside a big house and made it possible to freeze food by keeping ice in a small box, which could be carried from one place to another. Moore named his invention a refrigerator, but this invention was known as an 'ice box'. This is the ancestor of today's refrigerator.

Interesting Facts about the Refrigerator

  •                          19 years later, the English scientist Sellfold Bidwell developed a technology that can be called the ancestor of today's television. He created a technology that can move the picture up and down in the box using photoelectric cells. The work of adding more bricks to the work done by Bidwell was done by Alan Campbell Swinton, an electrical engineer from Scotland. He realized the need for an electronic switch and built that switch.
  •                       He found out that for this he also needs a camera that helps to collect the light in the photoelectric cell. In 1936, a television station was established. Britain's BBC established a station at Alexandra Palace. In the meantime, efforts were made to establish and operate television stations in Russia and America, They did not run well.

Who invented television?

  • London's John Logie Baird broadcasted the first real television in 1926. However, he used a mechanical system instead of an electrical receiver. He was the one who used technology to show colorful images on television instead of black-and-white images. The commercial production of television was started by the American RCA company and British EMI company.
